Kilometre 0 - Almost Day 1
Well, my bags are packed and I'm ready to go...at least I'm getting close. The bike weighs a tonne - so I hope I've got everything that I need on it. The goal is an early morning takeoff tomorrow, and biking to Emily Park. Being that's most of what is exciting so far, I won't waste our time with any more.

When taking the scenic way home from the trailer just west of Peterborough, we passed an amazing looking cyclist heading east...yes, it was Chris! We made a quick u-turn and pulled over to say hello. It was very hot and Chris was on his way from Emily Park - what a coincidence! Hope you have more downhills than uphills!
